Antique Windmill cross stitch pattern is a cute project that won’t take you long to stitch. It features an antique windmill in a rural scene which you can stitch in either grayscale or antique blue. The project was charted from a vintage pattern, first published by Henry Hesse around 1908.
This is a small full coverage cross stitch that measures 12.1cm x 12.1cm (67 x 67 grid) when completed on 14-count Aida cloth. The finished piece would look lovely in a small metal frame or on a mini tote bag.
The project uses 7 different DMC colours and your download pack includes the instructions for 2 x colour schemes (grayscale and blue/green) — as well as an extra chart that works in the Pattern Keeper App.
PLEASE NOTE: We’ve included the border and background stitches in the charts, but these can easily be removed if you want to reduce your stitching time.
