Description
This gorgeous Art Nouveau floral cross stitch was inspired by an original Berlin pattern (c. 1900) by German designer Friedrich Fischbach.
To save paper and printing costs, many of these old repeater designs were displayed in fragments. But they usually need a bit of adjustment so they lay out correctly when stitched.
With this in mind, we’ve remained true to the original design, but sharpened up a few edges and refreshed the colour palette using DMC Sea Green, Terracotta, and Tawny.
The finished piece (on 14 count Aida cloth) measures 36.1cm x 36.1cm and is perfect for cushions or small table runners.
Look out for our upcoming explainer video which unpacks the construction of a designer bed cushion.
