Description
Blue-winged Kookaburra Cross Stitch Pattern was inspired by a Faunaverse photograph of a laughing kookaburra. The vivacious kookaburra is a tree kingfisher (with a distinctive happy laugh) and native to Australia and New Guinea.
You don’t have to be Australian to enjoy the happy disposition and positive energy of the Kookaburra. If you need more fun and laughter in your life, this cross stitch is definitely for you.
The Project
Our awesome cross stitch creates a realistic Blue-winged Kookaburra. Using 27 DMC thread tones, you’ll capture the full texture and colour of our kookaburra’s gorgeous blue wing, sharp eye, and layered plumage.
We’ve removed the background for you, but suggest using plain blue Aida cloth. This also mimics a bright blue sky.
