By the Sea cross stitch pattern is a cute seaside scene, inspired by a design we found in a vintage pattern book (circa. 1900). We love how just a few simple lines and 5 colours can create the image of windmills, farmhouses, fences, and the rich shoreline.
This is a cutaway project that measures 14.5cm x 9.3cm (80 x 51 grid area) when completed on 14-count Aida cloth. We’ve charted the design using 5 x classic navy tones (DMC thread) but you could easily swap these for antique blue, turquoise, or pewter. The project has 2,627 cross stitches.
Even though this is a very easy cross stitch, your download pack includes an extra chart that works seamlessly in the Pattern Keeper App.
