Description
Our Duck in the Garden cross stitch pattern was inspired by an old woodcut design by Dutch painter and graphic artist Julie de Graag. It was part of a series of four (created between 1923 and 1924).
This handsome duck is easy to complete and a great project for beginners — just use black Aida cloth and complete only the white stitches.
We love how the artist has used just a few single lines to represent tall grass and garden flowers — and we’ve done our best to replicate those into your cross stitch project.
