Description
Gathering Onions cross stitch pattern is a replica of Beatrix Potter’s drawing of Peter Rabbit and his cousin Benjamin Bunny helping themselves to the vegetables in Mr McGregor’s garden.
The Project
This cross stitch project is a manageable size and looks just like the original drawing. The finished piece measures 26.1cm x 31.0cm when stitched on 14-count Aida cloth, but you’ll only be completing 21,045 stitches. You’ll need 69 different DMC colours to recreate Peter and Little Benjamin getting to work on Mr McGregor’s onions. The pattern works perfectly with Pattern Keeper App and there are NO backstitches.
Matching Charts
Gathering Onions cross stitch is the first chart in a set of four. You’ll find more mischief from Peter Rabbit and his cousin Benjamin Bunny in the other charts in the series. The finished pieces are perfect for tote bags, clothing, and rustic picture frames.
