Ladybugs Cross Stitch Pattern

Looking for a cute little cross stitch? How about these lucky ladybugs inside a repeating border frame?

Ladybugs cross stitch pattern is a cutaway project featuring the lucky energy of the bright red lady beetle.

These cute little insects are a timeless symbol of love, prosperity, and good luck, so it’s a fantastic feature for your home or shop window.

We had a lot of fun making up this design from some vintage pattern books and combining fresh DMC colours with interesting border shapes. We can’t wait to stitch this.

The Project

This is a NOT a full coverage cross stitch, so you’ll only be stitching the ladybugs, the green foliage, and their surrounding border. The finished project measures 9.8 x 10.2cm when stitched on 14 count Aida cloth and you’ll be completing 1,701 stitches in varying shades of DMC Nile Green, Emerald,  Christmas Red, and Raspberry.

PLEASE NOTE: even though this is a small project, we have included an extra chart that has been specially formatted for the Pattern Keeper App.
