Description
Love Letter cross stitch pattern is a replica of an 1883 oil painting by French artist Auguste Toulmouche. It’s a romantic scene of a beautiful young woman reading a love letter, surrounded in flowers and French finery.
The features of the piece include the young lady’s pale pink satin gown, her shimmering complexion, the design on the chair and French dressing screen, the distant trees and shadows, the gorgeous table garland, and the silhouette of a young man running from view. It’s just fabulous.
The Project
This cross stitch is a large full coverage project that measures 54.4 x 78.7cm (300 x 434 stitches) when stitched on 14 count Aida cloth. Despite being a large piece, we think you’ll find the confettit in this project quite manageable, and there are still large blocks of single colour.
PATTERN KEEPER: for a better stitching experience, look for the extra chart in your download pack that has been specially formatted for the Pattern Keeper App. Due to the size and complexity of this project, we recommend using PK to manage Psyche and the Golden Box cross stitch.
