Description
Mr McGregor’s Garden cross stitch pattern is a replica of Beatrix Potter’s drawing of Peter Rabbit squeezing into Mr McGregor’s vegetable patch. And in his blue coat with brass buttons!
The Project
This is NOT full coverage cross stitch so you’ll only be stitching the naughty Peter Rabbit disobeying his mother and getting into Mr McGregor’s garden.
The finished piece measures 26.5cm x 28.7cm when stitched on 14 count Aida cloth, but you’ll only be completing 15,499 stitches. The pattern works perfectly with Pattern Keeper App and there are NO backstitches.
Matching Charts
Mr McGregor’s Garden cross stitch is the third chart in a set of four. You’ll find more of Peter’s mischief, as well as his sisters Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail in our Peter Rabbit Series. They look great in painted wood frames or on canvas tote bags.
More Beatrix Potter?
We adored Beatrix Potter growing up and are keen to chart many more of her funny animal characters. Who are your favourites? We grew up with Timmy Tiptoes, the Flopsy Bunnies, and the two bad mice (Tom Thumb and Hunca Munca). To find your own favourites check our store category dedicated to Beatrix Potter cross stitch.
