Retro design in cross stitch

Looking for a retro design for your favourite wall that’s not too hard to cross stitch?

How about this vintage Art Nouveau mouse with super-long tail and original insignia?

Description

Muis cross stitch pattern is an authentic Art Nouveau design and was inspired by a 1919 woodcut by Dutch artist Julie de Graag.

We love the retro appeal of this design and how the mouse’s incredibly long tail curls back over the artist’s signature. It looks great on unbleached totes and canvas frames.

The Project

You can complete this cutaway project without a fuss as it only requires 1 colour (plain black thread). The finished piece measures 31.6cm x 46.6cm when stitched on 14-count Aida cloth and you’ll be completing 14,450 stitches.

To make things easy for you, we’ve included an extra chart in your download pack that has been specially formatted for the Pattern Keeper App. PK is a great way to manage your cross stitch projects.
