Description
Muladhara cross stitch pattern is a representation of an ancient Hindu symbol for the root chakra. Muladhara is traditionally a red lotus flower with four petals that represent joy, pleasure, passion, and concentration.
The Project
This is a cutaway cross stitch that measures 16.5cm x 16.5cm (5,557 stitches) when completed on 14 count Aida. This is not a difficult project as the colours are in single blocks and there is no confetti.
To create the perception of energy vibrating from your core, we’ve mixed vibrant red tones alongside muted dusty pink. We’ve also included a simple interpretation of the Sanskrit syllables वं vaṃ, शं śaṃ, षं ṣaṃ, and सं saṃ. These are full cross stitches and can be stitched in dusty pink or lemon yellow.
