Old Sailboat Cross Stitch Pattern

Old Sailboat cross stitch pattern is a lovely project that was inspired by vintage design, more than 100 years old, we found in an antique pattern book. We just love how a few simple lines and a handful of blue shades can create such a striking image of wind, ocean, and tree-line shorefront.

The Project

This is a cutaway project that measures 14.5cm x 10cm (1,946 stitches) when completed on 14-count Aida cloth. We’ve charted the design using the range of DMC Antique Blues (5 different colours in total), but you could easily exchange these for pewter or teal.

Even though this is a very easy cross stitch, your download pack includes an extra chart that works seamlessly in the Pattern Keeper App.
