Peter Rabbit is Forgiven cross stitch pattern is a replica from the end of Beatrix Potter’s book about Benjamin Bunny. Peter has returned to the family home (after a mad adventure with his cousin Little Benjamin Bunny), wearing his best blue coat and shoes. In the words of Miss Potter …
“When Peter got home, his mother forgave him, because she was so glad to see that he had found his shoes and coat. Cotton-tail and Peter folded up the pocket-handkerchief, and old Mrs. Rabbit strung up the onions and hung them from the kitchen ceiling, with the bunches of herbs and the rabbit-tobacco.”
This beautiful cross stitch is a very manageable size. The finished piece measures 26.3cm x 31.8cm when stitched on 14-count Aida cloth, but you’ll only be completing 22,503 stitches. You’ll need 67 different DMC colours to recreate the little rabbit brothers folding the red hankie. The pattern works perfectly with Pattern Keeper App and there are NO backstitches.
Peter Rabbit is Forgiven cross stitch is the last pattern in the four-set series that illustrates the story of Benjamin Bunny by Beatrix Potter. You’ll get to stitch Peter Rabbit and his cousin Little Benjamin Bunny as well as Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail, Mr Benjamin Bunny Snr, Mrs Rabbit — the vegetables from Mr McGregor’s garden.
