Spring in the Country Cross Stitch Pattern

$10.55 USD

If you love rural America and the magic of spring planting, how about stitching this gorgeous Grant Wood replica?

Description

Spring in the Country cross stitch pattern was inspired by the 1941 painting by Grant Wood. It is filled with sweeping rural scenery, and a farming couple hard at work in the freshly ploughed paddock. What an awesome symbol of preparation, promise, and possibility.

The Project

This is a large full coverage cross stitch that measures 54.4cm x 65.1cm when stitched on 14-count Aida cloth (300 x 359 grid). We’ve rated this project ‘Advanced’ because there are many large blocks of single colour and very little confetti.

You’ll need 113 different DMC colours to recreate Grant Wood’s stunning painting and you be completing 107,700. We think you’ll be pleased by how closely the finished piece resembles the original painting.

PLEASE NOTE: your download pack contains an extra chart that has been specially formatted for the Pattern Keeper App. PK is a great way to manage large cross stitch projects like this one.
