This little boxed icon was published in Europe in the late 1500s and would make a cute greeting card or hanging decoration.

Description

Turkeys have been popular embroidery subjects since embroidery folk first held a needle, especially on vintage samplers. For generations the turkey has been stitched as a symbol of prosperity, thanksgiving, and bountiful harvest.

Turkey Icon cross stitch pattern was found in a 16th Century book of cross stitch patterns, produced in Europe by an unknown author. We have replicated it here for you to stitch.
